Dutch Minister Ernst Kuipers of Health, Welfare and Sport has awarded the 2023 STZ innovation award to Corbotics BV on behalf of STZ, the united 27 top clinical hospitals in the Netherlands.
Corbotics has been given this award for its groundbreaking automated echo device which is autonomously capable of making echo images of the heart (Trans Thoracic Echocardiogram, TTE).

Considering originality, feasibility and impact on health care, the Jury selected Corbotics as winner out of 115 contestants. Due to increased population ageing and the fact that staff cannot keep up with the related growing demand of heart examinations, the Jury acknowledged that Corbotics’ disruptive medical device will be a game changer to overcome this fast growing capacity shortage.
The award was collected on 12 October 2023, by Dr. Eelko Ronner, Cardiologist at Reinier de Graaff Hospitaal in Delft and Adriaan van Donk, CEO of Corbotics.
