Corbotics and Us2.ai partner to advance end-to-end automated echocardiography

Partnership combines autonomous robotic image acquisition with AI-powered echo analysis and reporting to address growing demand for cardiac ultrasound.

Corbotics and Us2.ai have announced a strategic partnership bringing together two complementary technologies across the echocardiography workflow: Corbotics’ autonomous robotic cardiac ultrasound acquisition system and Us2.ai’s AI-powered automated analysis and reporting platform.

The companies have signed a distribution agreement covering the US, EU and UK, while also collaborating on the development of an integrated workflow spanning image acquisition to analysis and structured reporting.

Demand for echocardiography continues to grow while healthcare systems face shortages of trained sonographers and increasing pressure on specialist resources. Corbotics and Us2.ai are addressing complementary parts of this challenge.

Corbotics is developing its Bed Based Echo (BBE), an autonomous cardiac ultrasound system combining robotics and AI to automate transthoracic echocardiogram acquisition and support increased capacity for outpatient cardiac imaging. Us2.ai’s regulatory-cleared AI software then automatically analyzes the acquired study, generating comprehensive cardiac measurements and a structured, editable report for clinician review and validation.

Together, the technologies have the potential to create a more standardized and scalable pathway from patient scan to clinical report, while maintaining clinician oversight.
